Downtown Abilene/Taylor County Expo Center
1801 East South 11th Street, Abilene, TX, USA

Happy 4th of July everyone,

On behalf of the Abilene Freedom Festival Dream Team, we would like to say thanks for your time and interest in helping us make this event a huge success. If you haven’t heard Abilene Freedom Festival is a 501 (c) (3) organization.

This year we have made several improvements to the Abilene Freedom Festival that we believe will make it even more spectacular. In 2021, all First Responders, Active Military and Frontline Workers (such as medical personnel) will get in free to all events. Please bring your proper I.D. In addition, everyone will get in free July 3rd for the Independence Day celebrations in Downtown Abilene.

To help offset expenses , businesses and individuals may sponsor a Hero Table for the First Responders Salute on July 3rd or Hero Festival Concert tickets for a First Responder, Active Military or Frontline Worker on July 4th. You may purchase Hero Tables or Hero tickets at www.abilenefreedomfestival.com. The purchase of Hero Tables and Tickets will help ensure that all First Responders, Active Military and Frontline Workers get in free. Plus, your name will be included on the Hero Wall.

On July 3rd, everyone is invited at free of charge to the Downtown Celebration. Beginning at 4 pm, The AFF is joining the Downtown Association with live bands, food booths, shopping, a parade and loads of fun. You can even enjoy the thrilling movie, “Independence Day”, at the Historic Paramount Theater. Plus, you can enjoy the many restaurants, pubs and bars. We will feed a free traditional 4th of July meal to the First Responders and their families. Sorry, this event is not open to the public due to the attendance size. However, there will be a “congratulations” victory line outside the south entrance of the Convention Center beginning at 6:15 pm.

On July 4th, join us for Live Outdoor Festival Concerts featuring Superstar Neal McCoy, with special guests Chris Colston and Jerrod Medulla. Doors open at 4 pm and the music starts at 5 pm. Along with the great concerts join us for fabulous food trucks, a Kids Area and vendors.

Please bring a chair both days!

Please check out this year’s Abilene Freedom Festival Cook-Off hosted by the Sweetwater Jaycees.

Thanks again and God Bless.
